party is a trend that never stops

You tell me that there’s two kinds of people,
the cool ones and all of us
We believe you,
cause you’re the boss.

Even though I had a great date with Mr. Jack Daniels last night, nothing could stop me from going to see my absolute favourite Norwegian live band at John Dee today. I’ve seen them live 4 times before and I’ve learned that if you ever need to get into some serious party mood while dancing your ass of and losing your voice for the rest of the weekend, Kakkmaddafakka are the guys to call. Funny lyrics combined with an amazing musicality (these guys know what they’re doing) and energy to fuel the entire city of Oslo (well, not literally, but yeah) makes this band a must-see (yeah, that’s cliche, sorry).

My plan was to go there with a group of friends, but every one of them (except me) were destroyed after the party last night so I ended up going alone (well, everyone loves a lonely wolf, don’t they?), proving that I’ll probably do anything (…) to see these guys live.

Their next concert in Oslo is during By:Larm in February, so I would recommend anyone who’s in Oslo at the time to go see their show, it’ll be worth every penny. I’ll be there.

[edit:]In the spur of the moment I totally forgot to tell you about my lifesavers; Espen, Jennifer and Magnus. They sort of ruined my image as a lonely wolf (which was why I didn’t mention them in the first place), but of course, 3 good friends is better than standing alone in the corner with a beer. Thanks guys.[/edit]

You are crazy, I am crazy too, I am beautiful, and so are God damn you.
