Solving the puzzle

waikiki

TB-test is completed (I will get the result on Wednesday), I have signed up for my classes, gotten a beautiful and shiny sunburned chest, consumed several liters of coffee, created a new bank account, enjoyed sushi in the pouring rain, looked at more apartments, and right now I am working on the art of passing out on the hotel bed.

This week is the so-called “Passport Week”, which is the equivalent to fadderuka in Norway, only with less partying and more getting to know the island, the campus, the people and whatnot. It marks the end of the summer vacation and the start of term (which is Tuesday next week), and I will hopefully get some time off to participate in some of the fun. BTW; Advice numero uno if you are planning on moving here: Try to get a hold of an apartment before the last week of August. Think ahead in other words. Unlike what I did. Hopefully I’ll have a place to live by the time my mum travels back to Norway on Saturday. *fingers crossed*

How has the back-to-school part been for you guys? Fun – exciting – boring?

  • Eg har jobba med studiestart i ein månad og lurer på om det nokon sinne kjem til å roe seg ned.

    • Odette: erfaring tilsier at det gjør det i sånn ca to uker før eksamenskjøret begynner. Give or take et par dager.

    • Anonym: LOL. Den er kjøpt her på Hawaii, i Lacoste-butikken her (men vil tro de har den som basic overalt).

Sarah: nedtur. Håper det ordner seg snart !

Pia: satser, håper, ber, osv. Så lenge det er på Hawaii så er jeg fornøyd ;)
