The day before I left for Chicago I replaced my trusted but awfully rusty iPhone 4S with the 5S. One of my favorite parts of the new one is the camera, and so I took it out for a spin today while taking a street art walk through Kaka’ako. The area just hosted street art festival POW WOW for the fifth year in a row (I read that somewhere, but don’t quote me on that number), where street artists from all over the world come to Hawaii to make the neighborhood beautiful.
Kaka’ako is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Honolulu, with cool stores, cafes and specialty shops. Home to my favorite lunch spot Fresh Cafe and candy-store-camera-shop Treehouse.
