It’s my last night in Tokyo, and I’ve just checked into my fantastic little retro capsule at the Shinjuku Kuyakushomae Capsule Hotel in Shinjuku. I was originally looking for a hotel or apartment where I could stay for the entire weekend, but when that turned out to be mission impossible, one night in a capsule hotel became a win-win situation. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve always wanted to stay at a capsule hotel!

So far on this trip I’ve hugged owls, played video game drums in the old Sega-arcade, visited a temple, strolled through Harajuku without seeing more than 3 Lolitas and eaten way too much, but still not enough, food. Oh, and also attended meetings (the real reason I’m here).

Tomorrow marks my last day in this city, which I’m planning on spending at the Meiji Shrine, and in Shibuya. Hopefully it will bring more food, and more great photo ops!
