I left my heart in NYC

After 11 days of art, coffee, Manhattan, Williamsburg, late nights and early mornings I am back and have spent the last 14 hours in coma-induced sleep. And I already miss NYC. Unlike last time, I was able to get a better hold on the city this time, understand what is where, and experience random strokes of awesomeness as the passed by in all their glory.

I will never forget the trip to Galleri Sand (and the view from the roof top terrace), or seeing the Madonna on the wall in Nelson’s dining room, or just the small things like taking the subway home from Brooklyn at 5:30 in the morning, Starbucks breakfast with Lars Erik every morning, taking pictures with my new Holga camera (and the instant camera as well), Einar dressed up as Andy Warhol or spending 12 hours at the Met.

For the time being, I left my heart in NYC.
