First day in Kaua’i was spent on the West Coast tanning and visiting the Waimea Canyon look-out, before returning to the hotel and dinner in Kapa’a. Had the best (and probably healthiest) dinner at a hole in the wall in Kapa’a called Mermaid Cafe that sold ahi wraps with nori and rice and cucumber and wasabi, and also the most amazing homemade lemonade. If you are ever going to Kaua’i be sure to stop by.
