Last week I had 4 cold but inspiring days in the Capital. Washington DC that is.
Living on a tropical island in the Pacific you tend to romanticize winter, cold weather, scarves and woolen clothing, but after 4 days of being cold constantly I am glad to be back in a more comfortable climate again. After 22 years in Norway one should think I would be equipped to handle fall and winter, but apparently Hawaii can turn the best of us into wimps. That being said, DC was beautiful and I hope the next time I visit will be for a much longer time. Two years maybe, if I decide its the place I want to continue my studies.
Would definitely be interesting to study international relations in one of the (arguably) most powerful city in the world.
Love the picture!
You’re so lucky to live in Hawaii!! I’d love to go there right now as it’s right now at freezing point here in Switzerland,

Cheyenne: I’m realizing that more and more as I’m getting closer to graduation! Hawaii truly is paradise! Switzerland is beautiful too though, I love the mountains (both in the winter and summer).
