she runs so she’ll be free

The birthday celebration yesterday went great (of course), my apartment was filled way beyond the maximum capacity with friends and friends of friends, and the tunes of just about everything cool, including David Bowie, Prince, Queen, Wu Tang Clan, Kakkmaddafakka and M.I.A. Perfect birthday celebration numéro quatre.

Today on the other hand I have spent on my hands and knees scrubbing the apartment clean, after waking up to a living room that looked like it had been hit by a nuclear bombe. FUN. Took a break to sit in the park at Olaf Ryes Plass and eat ice cream in the sun, watching the weirdness that is Grünerløkka in the week-ends. For instance, we counted more men than women with strollers. It looked strange. The equal rights movements have obviously gotten too much power.  I say we fight back. But no one listens to what I say, so … yeah…. Back home again now and washing the floor for the second (or third time). Practicing for when I will become the perfect housewife someday.

Musical recommendation of the day: Theophilus London. The man played in Oslo last night (a concert I am sad to have missed), and his music is.. well, listen for yourselves: sssspotify .
