Thanksgiving is an emotional holiday. People travel thousands of miles to be with people they only see once a year. And then discover once a year is way too often. That however is not how my Thanksgiving was spent. We gathered to eat and drink and talk ourselves into the night. I could not have asked for a better evening.

Ida: no, I’m staying in Honolulu. Wont be going home to Norway until the middle of May.
