Brasserie du Vin

First week of school is done, and so far I am not overly stressed out by the prospects of working and studying and living and being on vacation at the same time. To celebrate a job well done we took a pause at Brasserie du Vin on Bethel Street (one block away from HPU’s Downtown campus) to drink rosé and eat soup in the shade. The backyard at Du Vin is one of my favorite places in Downtown Honolulu, with the vines that climb the walls, the brick and the tiny tables that remind me of a little Parisian restaurant (which is probably the point). Put on some Edith Piaf, Yann Tiersen, Juliette Gréco or Charlotte Gainsbourg, and the mood is complete.

Bon appétit!

  • nice! the restaurant looks really cozy and nice! rosé is always a good option to start the day – or finish it.
As a good friend once told me: “there comes a time in the day that no matter the question… the answer is wine!” – more than agreed!
    have a nice week!
