One of the really popular social issues in Hawaii is self-sustainability and the focus on eco-friendly and short-travelled food. One of the perks we get from this is an abundance of farmer’s markets all over the island, giving us a wide variety of tasty veggies and fruits always.
Every Thursday there’s a Farmer’s market in Kailua, and last Thursday we decided to stop by to buy food and take photos for a class assignment.
