Today it is raining. The sky opened up and it hasn’t stopped pouring since.
After 3 days of sun and summer I guess we deserved it. But yesterday! Yesterday it was warm and sunny and glorious!
We visited Harstad (birthplace of my mum, aunt and grandmother), in addition to two of the most beautiful places in Norway; Vesterålen and Lofoten. I also got an hour in Kabelvåg to visit my Hawaii roommate of the last two years, Malin, and enjoyed some warm blueberry pie at her house. Superspeed-sightseeing does not even begin to describe this journey. I have discovered a new love for my country.
These photos are from Lofoten, and illustrate why I lack the words to describe how much I love all of this.
Ok, de bildene av ørnen…de var bare sinnsyke! Ørner, altså. <3
Jeg vet, ser jo ikke ekte ut. Ørner er useriøst kule.
beautiful! the Norwegian landscape has so many sides I didn’t know before… lovely place. The pictures are all beautiful – good job! – for you and The One who ‘created’ it all.
have a nice weekend!
