This summer was dedicated to Norway, and all things Norwegian. A week before leaving for Hawaii my aunt invited me and my cousin on a trip to the famous Kjeragbolten, a boulder suspended over a great abyss, situated in the mountains outside of Stavanger. The drop below the rock is roughly 900 meters, and feels quite terrifying in a “I have vertigo shaking my very bone and I want to jump”-kind of way. Sometimes I really want to be a BASE jumper.
